Totally normal—dogs are professional nappers! Adult dogs usually sleep around 12–14 hours a day, and puppies or seniors can sleep even more. As long as your dog wakes up to eat, play, and go for walks, it’s usually nothing to worry about. But if they suddenly start sleeping way more than usual or seem really sluggish, it might be worth checking out.
