Pugs are known for snoring due to their brachycephalic (flat-faced) anatomy. Their short noses and narrow airways make it harder for air to flow smoothly, which can lead to snoring, especially when they’re relaxed or asleep. This is completely normal for Pugs, but if the snoring seems excessive or is accompanied by labored breathing, coughing, or trouble sleeping, it could be a sign of a respiratory issue, like brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome (BOAS). If you’re concerned, it’s best to consult your vet.
