Absolutely β I talk to my puppy all the time. At first, he just tilted his head, but soon he started responding with tail wags and expressions. Iβd tell him about my day, cheer him on when he peed outside, or say βgood boyβ like I meant it (because I did!). That two-way communication built real emotional trust.
