Honestly, I didn’t even notice how isolated I’d become until I hit my 40s. Between work, family, and just trying to survive the daily grind, making new close friends felt… unnecessary at first. But then you realize those late-night chats, shared laughs, and emotional support—are gone. It’s not that I don’t want friends. I just don’t know how to find them anymore.
