Sometimes my partner and I argue over the tiniest things—and it leaves me feeling confused and sad. I realized it’s not really about the fight itself, but what’s underneath it all.

Honestly, I’ve been there too. You start arguing over dishes or what to watch on Netflix, and suddenly it’s World War III. What I learned is—it’s rarely about the dishes. It’s the little unmet needs, built-up stress, or just wanting to feel heard. Sometimes, “nothing” is really “something we haven’t talked about yet.” Give each other grace. The real fight might just be a cry for closeness.
