“Random” fights are often just misdirected emotions. Maybe work was stressful, the kids are overwhelming, or you’re just burnt out. I realized with my partner that it wasn’t really about the misplaced laundry—it was that we hadn’t truly connected in days. It helps to pause and ask, “What are we really upset about right now?”
