For me, they totally were. I’d get stuck replaying things I said years ago, trying to “fix” them in my head. It was exhausting. Once I noticed the pattern, I realized it wasn’t memory—it was anxiety disguised as reflection.

For me, yes—absolutely. I realized I was replaying things because I was stuck in “what if” mode, always trying to mentally fix the past. Once I saw that as overthinking, not truth, I could create some space in my mind. It’s still a work in progress.
