I won’t lie—there have been times I wanted to throw in the towel. Life has a way of testing you right when you think you’ve caught a break. I won’t lie—there have been times I wanted to throw in the towel. Life has a way of testing you right when you think you’ve caught a break. For me, I remind myself of two things: 1) Every rough patch I’ve been through before, I got through it. And 2) If I stop now, I’ll never know what was waiting on the other side. When things feel overwhelming, I focus on just the next step, not the whole journey. I also let myself feel frustrated or tired, but I don’t let that be the final word. Because at the end of the day, as long as I keep moving—no matter how slow—I’m still making progress.

Man, I hear you. Some days it feels like life is just on repeat—wake up, work, deal with responsibilities, sleep, and do it all over again. I went through a phase where I felt like I was just existing, not really living. What helped me was making small changes. I started taking a different route to work, listening to new podcasts, and even trying out hobbies I had long forgotten about. It’s not about making huge, dramatic shifts—sometimes, just shaking up the little things can remind you that life still has variety. And if it’s something bigger, maybe it’s time to set a new goal or challenge yourself in a way that excites you again.

    What if dogs could text?

They’d probably text, “Where’s my treat?” every 10 minutes, send 100 blurry selfies of their nose, and spam you with “Come home NOW” the second you leave. Oh, and let’s not forget the accidental butt-dial when they roll over on their phone.

    What’s the weirdest dog behavior?

Some dogs spin in circles before they poop, others stare deep into your soul while doing it. Some even “bury” their food in imaginary dirt… on the kitchen floor.

If dogs had jobs, what would yours do?

Mine would be a full-time food critic (always begging), a security guard who sleeps on duty, or maybe a motivational speaker—because they always make me feel better.

What’s your go-to stress buster after a tough day?

    Trent

Added an answer on February 19, 2025 at 10:17 am

After a long day, I like to grab a cold drink and kick back with a good book or watch something lighthearted. Sometimes a quick walk works wonders too. Helps clear the head.
