How do I deal with a toxic friend without drama?

You have a friend who constantly makes you feel drained. She’s negative, always talks about herself, and doesn’t support you when you need her.

Oh, I hear you. Friendships should fill you up, not leave you exhausted. If she’s a long-time friend, it’s tricky, but you can start by setting small boundaries—maybe being less available or not engaging in negativity. If you feel comfortable, you could say something like, “Lately, I’ve been focusing on more positive energy, and I’d love if we could keep our convos uplifting.” If she reacts badly, well… that tells you all you need to know. You don’t have to make a big announcement or have a dramatic fallout—just slowly step back and invest in friendships that make you feel good.
