    To improve your sleep routine in your 40s, create a consistent bedtime and wake-up time, even on weekends. Wind down before bed with a relaxing activity like reading or meditation. Avoid screens at least 30 minutes before bed, as blue light can disrupt your sleep. Make your bedroom cool, dark, and quiet, and invest in a comfortable mattress and pillows.
