I’ve had those sudden bursts of anger too, especially in my 50s. It’s tough when it feels out of nowhere.

It’s so easy for those bursts of anger to hit like a storm, especially when everything seems to be going okay. In my 50s, I realized that the anger often stemmed from feeling overwhelmed, whether it was from work or life changes. When it happens now, I give myself space—step outside, take deep breaths, or focus on something calming. Those moments of pause help me control the anger rather than letting it control me.
