I cried trying on jeans that didn’t fit anymore. I avoided mirrors. But one day I looked at an old photo and realized — I wasn’t more confident because I was thinner. I was confident because I believed in myself. Confidence isn’t about weight. It’s about how we talk to ourselves. I started dressing for now, not 10 pounds ago, and doing little things just for me — walks, lipstick, writing in my journal. It’s coming back. Slowly, but surely.
