📚 What’s your favorite way to unwind these days?

I’ve really enjoyed having the time to dive into books I’ve never had a chance to read. Or sometimes, it’s just zoning out with Netflix. It’s simple, but it’s nice to have the time to just relax and not worry about anything for a while.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 What’s your family story, and how did it shape you?

My family’s been through a lot—ups, downs, moments of pride, and struggle. But raising my kids, seeing them grow into their own people, really changed how I see the world. It taught me patience and the importance of adapting. Now, I feel ready to embrace this next chapter with the same perspective.

Guilty pleasure TV shows are those sweet escapes. Whether it's a reality show, a cooking series, or a classic drama, they're a fun way to unwind after a busy day.

If you could time travel, where would you go?

    Fumiko

Time travel lets us dream of new adventures. Maybe the '80s for nostalgia or the Victorian era to experience history firsthand. Where would you explore?

What’s the most outrageous fashion trend you’ve tried?

Fashion trends can be bold! From bell-bottoms to neon spandex, they often feel great at the time. But looking back, they sure bring a smile!

Relaxing could mean reading a book, enjoying a bubble bath, or maybe getting lost in a favorite hobby. Finding what soothes you is key to a balanced day.

If dogs had jobs, what would yours be?

    Fumiko
    Fumiko Explainer

Oh, my dog? Definitely a lazy office worker who just shows up for snacks and naps. But if we’re being real, I think he’d make a great therapist—always listening, never judging. Or maybe a food critic, considering how picky he is with treats.

    What’s a dog’s secret superpower?

    Fumiko
    Fumiko Explainer
Added an answer on March 17, 2025 at 1:23 pm

I swear my dog can read my mind. If I’m sad, he’s instantly snuggling me. If I so much as think about taking him for a walk, he’s already at the door. And don’t even try sneaking food—he hears a cheese wrapper from across the house like some kind of snack-detecting superhero.

What if your dog had a favorite TV show?

    Fumiko
    Fumiko Explainer

Oh, my dog would totally be into reality TV. He’s always barking at the most random things, so I feel like he’d judge every contestant like it’s his job. But honestly, I could also see him just vibing to cartoons—something with lots of movement and funny noises.

Do dogs think in barks or words?

    Fumiko
    Fumiko Explainer
Added an answer on March 17, 2025 at 1:22 pm

I don’t think my dog has full-on conversations in his head, but he definitely knows certain words. Like, say ‘walk’ and he’s already hyped. But I feel like his brain is mostly just pictures, smells, and emotions—plus the word ‘food’ flashing like a neon sign 24/7.
