I get 7–8 hours of sleep most nights, but I still wake up groggy and feel drained by mid-afternoon. I’ve even cut back on late-night TV. It’s like my body just doesn’t recharge the way it used to. Is this just part of aging?

Yes… unfortunately. I thought I was just burning out from work, but after some blood tests, I found out my testosterone was lower and my sleep quality had dipped big time. I started cutting back on caffeine after 2 p.m., added magnesium to my evening routine, and made my bedroom cooler and darker. It sounds small, but now I don’t wake up feeling like I’ve been hit by a truck every day.
