Yeah, I wrestled with that for months. In the end, I did say something—but calmly, and only to my father-in-law. I didn’t attack, just shared how certain things were wearing me down. He didn’t apologize right away, but I could tell it made him think. It didn’t fix everything, but it gave me some dignity back. Sometimes, it’s not about changing them—it’s about standing up for yourself without burning bridges.
